Dalton โ€” Living Atoms ยท Last updated: June 26, 2026

Dalton โ€” Living Atoms ("the app") is an educational chemistry app developed by athanor. This policy explains what data the app handles. We aim to collect as little as possible.

We do not collect personal information

The app has no user accounts and does not ask for, collect, or store your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or any other personally identifying information. There are no advertisements and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Information stored on your device

Your progress (discovered and saved molecules), preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device only. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you uninstall the app or use the in-app reset option.

Information sent over the internet

When you build, convert, validate, or look up a molecule, the app may send the chemical structure you are working with (for example a formula, SMILES, or InChI code) to:

These requests contain only chemistry data, never personal information. As with any internet request, the receiving servers automatically receive your device's IP address and standard request metadata; this is used only to deliver the response and is not used to identify you. The app also works offline using its built-in chemistry library, in which case no data leaves your device.

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
